All Islanders are encouraged to celebrate the superb quality and distinctive taste of Island lobster, to share and learn about the long history of this very important industry to PEI, and to support the fishers, processors, buyers, peddlers, retailers and food service providers who participate in this industry.
Islanders are reminded that our lobsters are of high quality, they are tasty and nutritious and they represent great value. It is important that we promote our top quality Prince Edward Island lobsters here at home. Islanders are encouraged to enjoy the freshness and value in lobster products. Whether they are fresh out of the shell, featured in casseroles or chowders or prepared as a culinary delicacy, lobsters offer a delight for every taste.
Islanders are asked to support our fishers, processors, plant workers, peddlers, retailers and food service operators who work hard to deliver great value and quality.
This campaign is aimed at increasing awareness of, and demand for, our top quality Prince Edward Island lobsters. While it may be some time before we know more about the prospects for markets beyond our shores, we can start here in Prince Edward Island to make lobster a regular part of our eating pleasure.
